Masking tape

2025-08-21

Masking tape is a roll-type adhesive tape made with pressure-sensitive adhesive as its primary raw material. It's made by coating masking paper with a pressure-sensitive adhesive and a release material on the other side.

It features high-temperature resistance, excellent resistance to chemical solvents, high adhesion, soft, adherent properties, and the ability to be removed without leaving any adhesive residue. It's commonly known in the industry as masking tape.

Product Features: Smooth adhesive surface, excellent adhesion, and good adherence. Available in room temperature, medium temperature, and high temperature versions (thicker adhesive provides even stronger adhesion).

(Classified by operating temperature: "normal temperature, medium temperature, and high temperature"):

Normal temperature masking tape: Backing material: Crepe paper, Adhesive: Acrylic acid, temperature resistance below 80°C;

Medium temperature masking tape: Backing material: Crepe paper, Adhesive: Acrylic acid, temperature resistance between 80°C and 120°C;

High temperature masking tape: Backing material: High temperature masking paper, Acrylic acid, temperature resistance between 120°C and 180°C.

[Product Applications]: For use at room temperature, suitable for residential and commercial building decoration, painting, spray painting, color separation, and masking with paint. It can also be used for fixing, sealing, masking, and protecting areas that do not require spraying in the electronics and automotive industries where heat-resistant operating conditions are not a concern.
