What is Non-woven fabric retaining wall tape?

2025-12-03

Characteristics:

Non-woven wall tape is composed of a polyester film substrate laminated with non-woven fabric, onto which a high-performance acrylic adhesive is single-sidedly coated. It is generally available in one-layer, two-layer, and three-layer thicknesses for customers to choose from. The tape comes in two colors: tan and white. Its main components are non-woven fabric and rubber (or acrylic adhesive). It typically offers a temperature resistance of 130°C and a withstand voltage of 5kV. The product features excellent adhesion and superior solvent resistance.

Applications:

It is primarily used for insulation in UPS power supplies, dry-type transformers, high-temperature power frequency transformers, high-temperature gaskets, and microwave oven transformers. Wall tape is mainly suitable for insulation wrapping or as a wall/boundary in the electronic industry for components such as transformers, electronic coils, and motors.
