The base material of foam tape is EVA or PE foam, and then high-efficiency and high-temperature resistant oily acrylic glue is coated on both sides of the base material. This product has a strong sealing and shock-absorbing effect, and is widely used in automobiles, wall decorations, and nameplates and logos. It can also be used for silencing and shock absorption.
The details that need to be paid attention to when using foam tape are as follows:
1. Before using foam tape to paste, it is necessary to remove dust and oil stains on the surface of the adhesive object, and keep the surface of the adhesive object dry (do not paste it on a rainy day when the wall is wet). For example: for pasting mirrors, first use alcohol to clean the adhesive surface, and then paste it after the surface of the adhesive is completely dry.
2. When using foam tape, the ambient working temperature should not be lower than 10℃. If it is lower than this temperature, you can use a hair dryer to properly heat the adhesive tape and the adhesive surface to better play the adhesive properties of the foam tape.
3. When using foam tape to stick heavy objects, it is important to note that: when sticking, the foam tape should be pressed or compressed as much as possible, or it can be left flat for 24 hours. If this condition is not available, the load-bearing object should be supported within 24 hours of vertical sticking.
