Double-sided tape products are composed of three parts: substrate, adhesive, release paper (film) or silicone oil paper. The quality inspection of double-sided tape products should pay attention to the following aspects:
1. Check whether the double-sided tape has burrs. The edge of the roll double-sided tape is smooth and undamaged, which is the basis for ensuring the quality of the double-sided tape. The slitting edge of the roll double-sided tape should be carefully checked.
2. Check whether the double-sided tape has cracks. For example, if the slitting tool is not adjusted properly or the blade is not sharp enough, cracks will appear on the face paper or bottom paper of the double-sided tape, and the fibers pulled out from the cracks will be stuck by the adhesive. Because the cracks are small, they can only be found after separating the bottom paper and the face paper, so you can only ensure that the tool is adjusted in place and the blade is sharp.
3. Check whether the edge of the double-sided tape is adhered and whether the bottom paper is missing silicon.
4. Check whether the slitting end surface of the roll double-sided tape is straight and whether the rewinding is consistent. For example, the slitting ends of the roll double-sided tape are not aligned, which affects the registration during processing, and the waste discharge becomes difficult due to the change in the die-cutting position. The inconsistent tightness during rewinding will cause changes in tension and cause product quality problems.
