Partech® is one of the famous Chinese high-temperature insulating tape manufacturer and supplier. High-temperature tape is an adhesive tape used in high-temperature working environments. It is mainly used in the electronics industry, with a temperature resistance typically between 120°C and 260°C. It is commonly used in painting, leather processing, coating masking, and for fixing electronic components during manufacturing, as well as for masking printed circuit boards and high-temperature processing. High-temperature tapes include KAPTON high-temperature tape; Teflon high-temperature tape; high-temperature masking tape; PET green high-temperature tape; and high-temperature double-sided tape.

Characteristics

Teflon high-temperature tape has the following characteristics:

1. Non-stick;

2. High and low temperature resistance; long-term use temperature resistance up to 260°C;

3. Corrosion resistance;

4. Low friction and abrasion resistance;

5. Moisture resistance and high insulation;

Standard product thicknesses are 0.08mm, 0.13mm, and 0.18mm, and colors include brown and white.

Teflon high-temperature tape is mainly used for:

1. Insulation sheathing in the wire and cable industry;

2. Insulation lining in the electro-oxygen industry;

3. Surface sheathing of storage tank rollers, lining of guide rail friction surfaces. It can be directly applied to various large flat surfaces and regular curved surfaces (such as rollers), with simple operation, eliminating the limitations of specialized equipment, special processes, and transportation to professional spraying plants required for PTFE material spraying;

4. Used as a high-temperature insulating material in textile, food, pharmaceutical, and wood processing industries;

5. Used in color printing packaging machines, plastic weaving and drawing machines, microwave drying, various conveyor belts, and various bag making machines and sealing machines in the garment ironing and sealing packaging industry for heat sealing end faces, etc.

High-temperature PET green tape has the following characteristics:

1. Excellent initial tack and adhesion;

2. No residue, no edge curling, and no peeling after baking;

3. Solvent resistance;

4. Acid and alkali resistance;

5. Long-term temperature resistance up to 200℃.

The thicknesses of high-temperature PET green tape are: 0.055mm, 0.060mm, 0.070mm, 0.080mm, 0.10mm, 0.12mm, and 0.13mm. Colors include: light green, grass green, dark green, dark green, yellow, blue, sky blue, black, and transparent (custom colors available).

High-temperature PET green tape is mainly used for:

1. High-temperature powder coating and masking for chassis, tempered glass cups, etc.

2. High-temperature masking for PCB boards;

3. Masking for PCB board tinning and gold plating;

4. High-temperature potting and masking for LED dot matrix blocks, digital tubes, and LED display panels for electrical appliances;

Identification Methods

Polyimide High-Temperature Tape

(1) Appearance and odor;

(2) Residue after ignition and combustion;

(3) Actual high-temperature test: after passing through a temperature of 260°C, check for residual adhesive, shrinkage, etc. Polyimide high-temperature tape can be customized according to customer voltage resistance requirements. Using specially treated high-temperature resistant polyimide film as the base material, it possesses excellent insulation, puncture resistance, and acid and alkali resistance. It can withstand temperatures up to 300 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes and can be used continuously at 180 degrees Celsius. Product specifications include a length of 33 meters, and the width can be arbitrarily cut into various shades of amber. This high-temperature tape boasts excellent electrical properties, high insulation, high and low temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, low electrolysis, good mechanical properties, abrasion resistance, and tear resistance. Its special adhesive treatment provides strong adhesion, leaving no residue on the masked surface after removal.

Polyimide high-temperature tape is widely used in solder mask protection, high-temperature insulation binding of transformer coils, capacitor insulation materials, high-temperature spray coating masking protection for PCB gold fingers, and binding in mobile phone lithium battery manufacturing. Applications: This polyimide high-temperature insulating tape, manufactured by Jinshouzhi Company, is made of polyimide film coated with high-temperature resistant silicone. It possesses superior high-temperature resistance and is used to protect the gold fingers during reflow soldering.

Storage Methods

Storage, Transportation, Use, and Maintenance

(1) The tape should be stored in a warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight and rain. It must not come into contact with acids, alkalis, oils, or organic solvents. Keep it clean and dry, at least 1 meter away from detection devices, and at a room temperature between -15℃ and 40℃.

(2) The tape should be stored in rolls, not folded. If stored for an extended period, it should be turned over once per season.

(3) When loading and unloading conveyor belts, it is best to use a crane and a rigging system with a crossbeam to lift it smoothly, avoiding damage to the belt edges. Do not handle it roughly, as this may cause loosening or slippage.

(4) The type and specifications of the tape should be selected appropriately based on the usage needs and specific conditions.

(5) Belts of different varieties, specifications, strengths, and ply counts must not be connected (grouped) together for use.

(6) Hot vulcanization bonding is preferred for conveyor belt joints to improve reliability and maintain high effective strength.

(7) The diameter of the conveyor roller and the minimum pulley diameter of the conveyor belt should comply with relevant regulations.

(8) Do not allow the belt to snake or creep. Keep the drag rollers and vertical rollers flexible and maintain appropriate tension.

(9) When the conveyor is equipped with baffles and cleaning devices, avoid abrasion to the belt.

(10) Cleanliness is a basic condition for the proper operation of the belt. Foreign substances can affect belt eccentricity, tension differences, and even breakage.

(11) If premature damage to the belt is found during use, the cause should be identified and repaired promptly to avoid adverse consequences.
