"Double-sided tape" is a common term for adhesive tape coated on both sides. It is manufactured by applying adhesive to both sides of a substrate and winding it into a roll, serving to bond objects together. Depending on the substrate used, there are various types of double-sided tapes, such as PET, conductive foam, PE foam, EVA foam, and OPP double-sided tapes. So, what exactly is PET double-sided tape?

PET double-sided tape—also known simply as PET tape or high-temperature PET tape—is made by coating both sides of a PET film with acrylic adhesive. It typically comes in transparent or black, though green versions are also available. This tape offers excellent stability—including thermal and chemical stability—as well as strong initial tack and holding power. It is easy to die-cut and adheres well to plastics, rubber, and nameplates. Capable of withstanding harsh environments and a wide temperature range, it is ideal for bonding nameplates, decorative items, plastic components, and rubber parts. It is a permanent adhesive tape; its bonding strength actually increases over time.
