High-Temperature Masking Tape: This tape features a longitudinally striped adhesive coating and offers strong adhesion and excellent high-temperature resistance. It leaves no residue after removal following high-temperature exposure. Key characteristics include ease of tearing, good adhesion, resistance to varying temperatures, high bonding strength, flexibility, and clean removability without surface contamination. It is suitable for masking and protection during high-temperature baking and spray painting processes for automobiles, metal or plastic components, and furniture. It is also used in building decoration, painting, color separation, and wall masking, as well as in industries such as electronics, electrical appliances, varistors, and circuit boards.
Standard Masking Tape: Standard masking tape is manufactured using masking paper and pressure-sensitive adhesive as primary materials; the adhesive is applied to one side of the paper, while the other side is coated with a release agent. While standard masking tape does possess some heat resistance, it is not as effective in high-temperature environments as the specialized high-temperature variant. It features good resistance to chemical solvents, high adhesion, flexibility and conformability, and clean removal without residue. This product is suitable for building decoration, painting, color separation, wall masking, and applications in the electronics industry. Compared to high-temperature masking tape, standard masking tape has a somewhat more limited range of applications.
