
Gold finger tape, also known as Kapton tape or polyimide tape, is made with polyimide film as the base material and uses imported silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive. It possesses properties such as high and low temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, solvent resistance, electrical insulation (H-class), and radiation protection. Polyimide tape is suitable for masking wave soldering on electronic circuit boards, protecting gold fingers, insulating high-end electrical appliances, motor insulation, and fixing the positive and negative terminals and lugs of lithium batteries.
I. Polyimide tape has advantages in the electronics and electrical engineering industry and circuit board manufacturing industry, including high temperature resistance, high tensile strength, excellent chemical resistance, no residue, and compliance with RoHS environmental protection and halogen-free standards.
II. In the circuit board manufacturing industry, polyimide tape can be used for electronic protection bonding, especially suitable for SMT temperature protection, electronic switches, PCB board gold finger protection, electronic transformers, relays, and other electronic components requiring high temperature resistance and moisture protection.
III. Low-static and flame-retardant polyimide tapes are available to meet the needs of special processes. These tapes are used for high-temperature surface reinforcement and protection, masking and protecting metal materials during high-temperature painting and sandblasting. After high-temperature painting and baking, the polyimide tapes are easy to peel off without leaving residue.
IV. In the electronics and electrical industries, polyimide tapes can be used for insulation wrapping of H-class motors and transformer coils with high requirements. They are also used for high-temperature coil end wrapping and fixing, temperature measuring resistance protection, capacitor and wire entanglement, and other bonding and insulation applications under high-temperature operating conditions.
