
There are generally four factors that cause high-temperature tape to age:
1. Oxygen exposure.
2. Ultraviolet (UV) radiation or sunlight.
3. Metal corrosion, particularly from copper or rust.
4. Bleaching agents.
Prolonged exposure to any of these four conditions will cause the high-temperature tape to age and lose its adhesiveness.
