Industrial Uses of Mylar Tape: It is professionally used during the circuit board impregnation process to mask "gold fingers" (contact pads), preventing the ingress and contamination of electroplating solutions and protecting the board. It features straight edges, is easy to remove without leaving adhesive residue, and is made of polyester film with high temperature resistance. It serves as an insulating material for wrapping components in the electronics industry, such as transformers, motors, coils, capacitors, and variable-frequency power supplies.

Tape is the most common adhesive product in our lives. The most commonly used one should be transparent tape, which can be said to be very practical.

Product use: In addition to the general masking performance of masking tape, it can also be widely used as color identification, decoration, label, etc., which can be perfectly coordinated and consistent with the background environment of different colors. Because of its bright color and high-end appearance, it can also be used as a new type of high-end binding and packaging material.

Specialty tape—also known as opaque tape or, more broadly, as a light-shielding material—is an adhesive product utilized for edging the bezels of LED and LCD displays, shielding light sources, and blocking light penetration.

While people are aware that the cross-sectional area of power cord materials affects electrical safety during electricity use, they often don't pay enough attention to the use of insulating tape at joints. Improper use of insulating tape can cause leakage, endangering personal safety or causing fires. So, how should insulating tape be used correctly? Power cord joints are divided into "+" type, "-" type, "T" type, etc. The joint should be securely wrapped, smooth and free of burrs. Before breaking the wire end, lightly press it with wire cutters, then wrap it around to the opening, and then swing it left and right; the wire end will break off neatly at the joint. If the joint is in a dry place, first wrap it with two layers of insulating black cloth, then two layers of plastic tape (also called PVC adhesive tape), then wrap two or three layers of J-10 self-adhesive insulating tape stretched to about 200%, and finally wrap two layers of plastic tape.
